IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USE AND KEEP FOR
FUTURE REFERENCE. FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY.
When using an electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be
observed, including the following:
This appliance is not designed for use by children or persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, and must not be used by such persons unless
they can do so safely. Where necessary, such persons (or anyone with lack
of experience or knowledge) should be given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
WARNING - TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRICAL SHOCK OR INJURY:
• Before using the blender, read these instructions carefully to ensure that you are
familiar with the operating procedures.
• The warnings, cautions and instructions stated in this instruction manual cannot
cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur when the product is
in use.
• Never operate the appliance with a damaged power lead or plug, after a
malfunction, or if it has been dropped or damaged in any way.
• The blender is intended exclusively for household use only and not for
commercial use.
• Make sure that the voltage indicated on the rating plate (located on the
underside of the blender) is the same as the supply voltage in your home. If not,
do not use the blender and return it to your retailer.
• Do not touch the blades as they are very sharp. Handle carefully.
• NEVER place your hands in the blender while it is switched on.
• To prevent electrical hazards, never put the blender motor unit, mains cable
or plug in water (or any other liquids). Do not allow water to penetrate the
electrical parts.
• Always keep the blender out of reach of children, as they are unable to recognize
the hazards associated with incorrect handling of electrical appliances.
• Close supervision is required when the blender is used near children.
• Do not move the blender while it is in use. Doing so could seriously harm the
user and/or third parties.
• Always unplug the blender from the mains supply when it is not in use or before
cleaning.
• NEVER use hot liquids or hot food in the blender. Doing so could seriously harm
the user and/or third parties.
• NEVER leave the blender unattended when it is in use.
• The blender does not contain any user-serviceable parts – please consult
qualified personnel.
