1. Application Object
These instructions apply to the PM61A Chassis.
(71PY1M/MG-WA Monitor)
2. Specification
(1) Because this is not a hot chassis, it is not necessary to
use an isolation transformer. However, the use of isolation
transformer will help protect test equipment.
(2) Adjustment must be done in the correct order.
(3) The adjustment must be performed in the circumstance of
25±5°C of temperature and 65±10% of relative humidity.
(4) The input voltage of the receiver must keep 100-220V~,
50/60Hz.
(5) The receiver must be operated for about 15 minutes prior
to the adjustment.
After RGB Full white HEAT-RUN Mode, the receiver must

be returned to normal operation prior to adjustment.
Enter into HEAT-RUN MODE

1) Press the POWER ON KEY on R/C for adjustment.
2) OSD display and screen display 100% full WHITE
PATTERN.
[ Set is activated HEAT-RUN without a signal generator in
this mode.
[ Single color pattern(RED/BLUE/GREEN) of HEAT-RUN
mode is used to test the PANEL.
Caution) If you turn on a still screen more than 20 minutes
(Especially digital pattern, cross hatch pattern), an
afterimage may be occur in the black level part of the
screen.
3. Adjustment of Phase
3-1. Required Equipment

3-3. Adjustment Method
(1) Input Pattern(Fig. 1) in the Component 1 and RGB input.
(2) After acting the DW, set the screen to be Component
1080i in the main screen and RGB-DTV 480p in the sub
screen as shown( Fig. 2).
(3) Fir the adjustment, press the Instart KEY fifth.
(4) In the 4 adjustment menu(Fig. 3), adjust the Phase of the
main/sub screen using the Vol +,- key.
(Because Phase adjustment value is applied to the
main/sub screen at the same time. You must find the
value that keeping with the phase of main/sub as changing
the phase.)
Each PCB assembly must be checked by Check JIG Set
before assembly. (Take special note of the Power PCB, which
can easily damage the PDP module)

4-3. Adjustment Method
(1) Va Adjustment
1) Connect + terminal of D.M.M to Va pin of P805, connect
- terminal to GND pin of P805.
2) Turn RV501, to adjust the Va voltage to match the value
marked on the label on the right/top of the panel.
