SERIES 1000 & SERIES 1500 TRACTORS

The limitedwarrantysetforth belowis givenbyCub CadetLLCwithrespectto
newmerchandisepurchasedor leasedand usedinthe
UnitedStatesand/orits territoriesand possessions, a nd by MTDProducts
Limitedwithrespectto new merchandise purchasedor leasedandusedin
Canadaand/or its territoriesandpossessions(eitherentity respectively, " Cub
Cadet").
CubCadetwarrantsthis product(excludingits NormalWearParts,Batteries,
andFrameandFrontAxleasdescribedbelow)againstdefectsin materialand
workmanship fora periodof three(3)yearsor one hundredtwenty (120)oper-
ationhours,whichevercomesfirst, commencingon the dateof originalretail
purchaseor leaseand will,at its option,repairor replace, f ree of charge,any
part foundto be defectivein materialsor workmanship.
Normal WearPartsare warrantedto be freefrom defectsin materialandwork-
manshipfor a periodof thirty (30)daysfromthe dateof originalpurchaseor
lease.Normalwearparts include,but are not limitedto items suchas: belts,
blades,bladeadapters,grassbags,rider deckwheels,seats,andtires.
Batterieshavea one-yearproratedlimitedwarrantyagainstdefectsinmaterial
andworkmanship, w ith100%replacement d uringthe firstthree months. A fter
threemonths, t he batteryreplacement c reditis basedon the monthsremaining
inthe twelve(12)monthperioddating backtothe originaldate of originalsale
or lease.Any replacement b atterywill be warrantedonlyfor the remainderof
the originalwarrantyperiod.
Frameand FrontAxle-- CubCadetwarrantsthe frame,andfront castironpiv-
ot axle againstdefectsin materialandworkmanshipfora periodof five (5)
yearsor 500 hours,whicheveroccursfirst, commencing on the dateof original
purchaseor lease.
This limitedwarrantyshallonly apply if this producthas beenoperatedand
maintainedinaccordancewiththe Operator'sManualfurnishedwiththe prod-
uct, andhas not beensubjectto misuse,abuse,commercial u se, neglect,ac-
cident,impropermaintenance, a lteration,vandalism,theft,fire, water,or
damagebecauseof otherperil or naturaldisaster.Damageresultingfromthe
installationor use of any part, accessoryor attachmentnot approvedbyCub
Cadetforusewiththe product(s) c overedbythis manual w illvoid yourwarranty
asto any resultingdamage.Inaddition,Cub Cadetmaydenywarrantycover-
ageif the hourmeter,or any partthereof,is altered,modified, d isconnected or
otherwisetamperedwith.

Withoutlimitingthe foregoing,thislimitedwarrantydoesnot providecoverage
inthe followingcases:
a. Routinemaintenanceitemssuch as lubricants, f ilters,bladesharpening,
tune-ups,brakeadjustments, c lutch adjustments, d eck adjustments, a nd
normaldeteriorationof the exteriorfinish dueto useor exposure.
b. Servicecompletedbysomeoneotherthan an authorizedservicedealer.
c. CubCadetdoesnot extendanywarrantyforproductssoldor exportedout-
sideof the UnitedStatesand/orCanada,andtheir respectivepossessions
andterritories,exceptthosesoldthroughCubCadet'sauthorizedchannels
of exportdistribution.
d. Replacement p arts and/oraccessoriesthatare not genuineCubCadet
parts.
e. Transportation chargesandservicecalls.
f. CubCadetdoesnot warrantthis productforcommercialuse.
Thereare noimpliedwarranties,includingwithoutlimitation any implied
warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. No war-
ranties shall apply after the applicable period of express written warranty
above. No other express warranties beyond those mentionedabove, giv-
en by any person or entity, including a dealer or retailer,with respect to
any product, shall bind Cub Cadet.The exclusive remedy is repair or re-
placement of the product as set forth above. The terms of this warranty
provide the sole and exclusive remedy arising from the sale and/or lease
of the products coveredhereby.Cub Cadet shall not be liable for any in-
cidental or consequential loss or damage including, without limitation,
expensesincurred forsubstitute or replacement lawncareservices or for
rental expensesto temporarily replacea warranted product.
Somejurisdictionsdo not allowthe exclusionor limitationof incidentalor con-
sequential d amages,or limitationson howlong an impliedwarrantylasts,so
the aboveexclusionsor limitationsmaynot apply to you.
In no eventshallrecoveryof any kind be greaterthan the amountof the pur-
chasepriceofthe productsold.Alterationofsafetyfeaturesofthe productshall
voidthiswarranty.Youassumethe riskand liabilityfor loss,damage,or injury
to you andyourpropertyand/orto othersandtheir propertyarisingout of the
misuseor inabilityto usethe product.
This limitedwarrantyshall not extendto anyoneotherthan the original pur-
chaseror to the personfor whomit was purchasedas a gift.

givesyouspecificlegal rights,andyou mayalso haveotherrightsthatvary in
