When control @ is turned fully clockwish, the
original recording will be erased completely.
The ideal position of control @ for the best dubbirig
effect (the balance between. the first-and second
recording) can be found with trial récordings:
Note: A slight deviation in the position of control @
may be necessary whith different cassette types.
At the end of the sound on sound recording (when
the desired counter reading is reached), the sound
on sound control @ is turned fully anti-clockwise
until a click is heard. The recorder then switches to
stop mode.

In the same way as described above, it is possible
to fade-out undesired applause, announcements or
other undesired parts of a recording.
When control @ is turned fully clockwise, the
original recording will be erased completely.
Note: Caré should be taken that during normal
recordings the sound on sound control (7) is always
turned fully anti-clockwise ('OFF' position):
GENERAL REMARKS
@ COMPACT CASSETTES: Both ends of the tape
are attached to the reel hubs by a length of leader
tape. Take this into account: nothing is recorded! for
about 6 to 7 seconds at the beginning and also at
_ the end of the cassette.
You can prevent accidental erasure of recordings
by breaking out the small flap at the left-hand corner
at the back of the cassette (Fig. 5). After this, no
recordings
can be made
on this side
of the
cassette. You may cancel this prevention wth a
piece of adhesive tape.
@ COUNTER: When setting counter
@) to 000 with
zero-reset button (2), after inserting a cassette and
when noting the counter reading at which each
recording starts, you will later be able to locateyour
recordings easily.
@ AUTOMATIC STOP: The automatic stop opéra-
tes when the tape in the cassette has reachec/ its
