During automatic recording, there is no need to
check or adjust the recording level. During manual
different sounds are recorded. You may also add a
blank part between two recordings by setting the
recording level controls @ at 'min' during record-
ing:
Remote control
When connecting a remote control unit (e.g. the
N 6721) to socket @9, all tape transport funciions
can be remote controlled.
The tape transport buttons of the recorder remain
operative | in the usual way.

@ Switch on the set with on/off ('power ")s switct 8.
@ Open cassette holder @ with eject button @ and
insert a cassette of the IEC type I ('Nomnal',
'Standard' or 'Ferro') or IEC type II ('Chromum')
with the full reel on the left-hand side as shown in
