• Work on gas and electrical installations may only be performed by qualified technicians.
Always disconnect the refrigerator from the AC and DC power supply and turn off the gas before ser-
vicing it.
➤ Have the gas system and connected flues inspected regularly by a qualified specialist to ensure that they com-
ply with national safety requirements.
➤ Keep a record of any maintenance performed.
9.1 Defrosting the refrigerator
The refrigerator compartment is equipped with a cyclic defrost system that prevents excessive frost formation on
the evaporator fins. If the refrigerator is used for a long time in high humidity and/or high ambient temperatures,
frost may still form on the evaporator fins and the refrigerator must be defrosted manually.

Do not use mechanical tools or a hair dryer to remove ice or to loosen frozen items.

NOTE
The freezer compartment must be defrosted at regular intervals. Defrost the freezer compartment
once the frost layer is higher than 3 mm.
