1. Tur on the TV.
if your TV is connected to both VHF/UHF OUT and LINE
OUT of the VCR:
Select the input from the VCR.
If your TV is connected only to the VHF/UHF OUT of the
VCR:
Select the channel for the VCR (channel 3 or 4)
2 Insert the cassette.
The VCR turns on automatically.

4 Press TV/VTR to light the VTR indicator in the display
window.
Skip this step if your TV is connected to both VHF/UHF
OUT and LINE OUT of the VCR.
5 Press INPUT SELECT to light the channel number
indicator in the display window.
6 Select the channel to be recorded with CHANNEL +/-.
7 Press the two @ REC buttons on the Remote
Commander simultaneously, or the @ REC button on the
VCR.
Recording starts.
When the tape reaches the end, the VCR automatically
rewinds the tape, and the power remains on.
To pause recording:
Press IIPAUSE.
Tostop recording:
Press Mi STOP.
Toturn off the data screen information
Press DATA SCREEN on the Remote Commander.
To display it again, press DATA SCREEN.
Data screen information is not be recorded on the tape.
The remaining tape length indicator
¢ The remaining tape length shows the approximate length of
tape left.
¢ When you insert a short tape such as a T-20, T-30 ora
non-standard commercially available tape, the remaining
tape length indicator may not function correctly.
