Note
- The w indshield wiper blades must on ly
be replaced when in the service position

tem, always loosen blades which are fro-
zen to the windsh ield befo re operat ing
wipe rs.
- To help prevent damage to w iper blades,
do not use gasoline, kerosene, paint
th inner, or othe r solvents on or near t he
wipe r blades.
- To help prevent damage t o the wiper
arms or other components, do not at-
temp t t o move the wipers by hand .

Tips
Commercia l hot waxes applied by auto-
mat ic car washes affect the cleanab ili ty of
the w indshield .

Removing the wiper blade
,.. Fold the w indshield w iper arm away from
t he glass.
,.. Grasp t he uppe r end of the wiper arm with
on e hand and the metal clamp on the wiper
blade with the other

arrow @ and pull the wiper blade out of the
holder only in the direction of the arrow @ .

,.. Press the wiper blade into the holder with
your other hand.
