Using the Digital Dynamic Sound (DDS) Controller
Before adjusting the digital dynamic sound controller,
play back the program source.
You can adjust the contraller while listening to the ac-
tual sound.
IMPORTANT
You cannot operate the digital dynamic sound (DDS)
controller when the DOLBY SURROUND
mode is select-
ed. If you select DOLBY SURROUND
with SURROUND
ON/OFF set to ON, the digital dynamic sound (DDS)
controller is automatically turned off. To turn on the
DDS controller, select another mode.

Adjusting the Digital Dynamic Sound Controller
1 Press DDS ON/OFF to ON.
2 Press PARAMETER
MAIN until "DDS" appears in
the display.
3 Press <J or > to adjust the compressor or ex-
pander.
Note
lf DDS ON/OFF is set to OFF, "DDS off!" appears after
you finish adjusting.
