Dubbing/Editing
Video Tapes Using 2 VCR's
To dub or edit your own video tapes between one VCR and another, connect the VCR that will play to the input jacks
(VIDEO 1 or VIDEO 2) on the TV. Then connect the output jacks on the back of the TV to the input jacks on the recording
VCR.
Note:
Do not connect one VCR to the output and input jacks on the back of the TV at the same time.

Turnthe TV and both VCR's on.
Press the TV/VIDEO
button to select "VIDEO 1" (or
"VIDEO 2" depending on which input jacks are used
for connecting the VCR for playback).

Set the VCR for recording to record mode and the
VCR for playback to playback mode.
You can view the video tape from the VCR for play-
back on the "IV screen while dubbing it with the VCR
for recording.

CAUTION:
The unauthorized recording of television programs,
video tapes and other materials may infringe upon the
provisions of copyright laws.

Notes:
• The input switch of the VCR is normally in the TV
position. Change the input switch of the recording VCR
to the external input position such as'LINE or CAMERA
when using the video/audio
inputs of the VCR as
above. Some VCR's automatically
switch when the
cables are plugged into the video/audio
inputs.
• The "fixed level" audio signal through the AUDIO jacks
of OUT jacks is also ideal for connecting an audio
cassette recorder (or amplifier) to record sound from
the TV. This constant audio signal is not affected by
pressing the VOLUME • / I_ buttons.
