To select and protect images
(_) Press MENU in single-inmge mode or in index mode.
(_) Select [Protect] with A/V, and select [Multiple hnages] with 4/_-, then press Q.
In single-image mode:
(_) Select the image you want to protect with 41/1_, I hen press Q.
The _g" is attached to the selected image.
(_) Press "_1_ to display other images you x_antto protect, then press Q.
0 Press MENU.
(_) Select [OK] with A, then press @.
In index mode:
(_) Select the image you want to protect with A/V/'41/_, then press _.
The _/" is attached to the selected image.
(_) To protect other images, repeat step (_).
(_) To select all the images in a folder, select the fokler selection bar with "_, then press Q.
The _/ is attached to the selected fi)lder.
(_) Press MENU.
(Z) Select [OK] with A then press @.
To cancel the protection
Select the image lkwwhich >ou vxant to cancel protection, and unlock it b> performing the
same procedure to protect it.
The o-_ (Protect) indicator disappears.
• Note that the lk_rmattiug erases all the data stored on the recording media, even if the images
are protected, and these images cannot be restored.
• It may take some time to protect an image.
Adds a print order mark (DP{}F)to the image you want to print.

Attaches a DPOF mark to the image being selected now. Clears
the DPOF mark when the selected image has a DPOF mark.
_ (Multiple Images) Selects images and attaches DPOF marks to them. Clears DPOF
marks already attached.
