Central Locking

Brief overview – opening and
locking doors from outside
This brief overview does not replace the complete
information provided under "Central locking

What do I want to do?
Unlock
Lock
Lock if persons/animals are remaining in
vehicle on vehicles with interior surveillance:
– Deactivating SAFELOCK and
– switch off the alarm system's interior
surveillance
Switch off the alarm system's alarm sound e Press the

What do I have to do?
With driver's key:
e Press the
button on the driver's key.
With Porsche Entry & Drive:
e Grip the door handle fully.
With driver's key:
e Press the
button on the driver's key.
With Porsche Entry & Drive:
e Touch proximity sensor A on the door
handle.
With driver's key:
e Press the
button on the driver's key
twice (within approx. 2 seconds).
With Porsche Entry & Drive:
e Touch proximity sensor A on the door
handle twice (within approx. 2 seconds).

Switch on ignition.

What happens?
The hazard warning lights flash once.
The doors can be opened.
The hazard warning lights flash twice. The doors
are locked, but can be opened from inside by
pulling the door opener.
Vehicles with interior surveillance: The doors
cannot be opened from inside by pulling the door
opener (SAFELOCK).
The hazard warning lights flash slowly once.
The doors are locked, but can be opened from
inside by pulling the door opener.
The alarm sound is switched off.
