Two -pin connector is used for
connection to 13. 5 Volts DC
(negative ground) power source,
vehicle
battery
, or FP-2 power supply.
Audio output is provided at this
receptacle for an external speaker
(or speaker in FP-2 power supply).
Output impedance is 4 ohms and the
internal speaker will be disabled
when a plug is inserted.
UHF type coaxial receptacle for
connection of antenna.
The BURST switch applies a short
"tone burst" to the carrier at the
start of each transmission in the
"ON" position.
This is normally
used only with "tone access"
repeater operation.
The ACCESSORY socket is used
for external VFO operation.
