If there are no young children in your household,
or disabilities make it difficult for adults to operate
the 2-step door latch, refer to the instructions
below to disable the safety lock feature and
convert the door to a 1-step push button latch.
Opening Door with Safety Lock

Use one finger to locate and press the safety
lock button on the right side of the door.

While pressing the lock button, use your
thumb to press the door latch release button
on the front of the door.
Disabling the Safety Lock
Safety Lock On
(default)
Use the included Allen wrench to push in and turn
the safety lock button clockwise to the "Unlock"
position.
NOTE
• The Allen wrench is located in the bag with the
printed materials. Keep it handy for future use.
• Once the safety lock is disabled, simply press the
front button to open the door.
