Start recording.
Press the shutter button fully (press
it further).
• With the default settings, you cannot take a picture until the subject is
brought into focus.
If you set [Focus/Release Priority] in the [Custom] ([Focus / Release
Shutter]) menu to [BALANCE] or [RELEASE], you will be able to take a
picture even when the subject is not in focus.
Recording Videos

Start recording.
Press the video rec. button.
• Release the video rec. button right after
you press it.

Stop recording.
Press the video rec. button again.
