Tripod Connector: Use this connector to attach
a tripod to the camera. A tripod is an optional
accessory that can be used to hold the camera
very still and is especially useful for low light
night pictures. It can also be helpful when
nobody can hold the camera, such as when
taking group pictures using the timer mode.
Battery / Memory Card Cover: Allows access to
the 2 AA sized alkaline battery chambers as well
as the memory card slot.
Memory Card Slot: To store your images on an
external memory card, insert a SmartMedia™
memory card into this slot and change the
Storage Media option to External.
Battery Chamber: Insert two AA alkaline
batteries.
