To Attach The
Ruffler
(1) Raise the needle to its highest point.
(2) Loosen the presser foot thumb screw and attach
the ruffler to the presser bar in place of the
presser foot, at the same time placing the fork
arm B astride the needle clamp.
(3) See that the needle enters the center of the needle
hole in the ruffler.

To Adjust The Ruffler For Gathering
(1) Swing the adjusting finger F away from the needle.
(2) Raise the adjusting lever E and move it until the

(3) Insert the material to be ruffled between the two

(4) Draw
the material slightly back of the needle,
lower the presser bar and commence
to sew.
(5) For fine gathering,
turn the adjusting screw

upward and shorten the stitch.
(6) For full gathering,
turn the adjusting screw
C
downward and lengthen the stitch.
