(3) Flash Photography
The flash provides additional light in dim
surroundings. There are three operating positions.

The camera determines when it

Set the selector to AUTO for best
results during normal shooting.
Selector set to ON
The flash fires for each shot.
Press the shutter button halfway, wait for the blink·
ing red light· to remain continuously lit, and press the
shutter button all the way to take a picture.
The flash shooting range

The red light blinks irregularly indicating the flash is be·
ing charged. The shutter will not release until the light
