select a Caption Mode: CCI, CC2,
CC3, CC4, TEXTI, TEXT2, TEXT3,
or TENT4. CC Display toms text OFF
or ON if' the T'V station broadcasting
on the channel is making Closed
Captioning available. With CC Display
highlightad, press die CURSOR
RIGtlT to toggle Closed Captioning
ON, OFE or CC Mute.
NOIE: You also can press the CC button on
the remote conhol to tltrn the CC Text option
On or Off'.
Press the SIATUSiEXIT button to
remove the memt li'o0n the screen.
NOIE: When Closed Captioning is t_trtled
On, the screen will automatically change to
the Wide screen lbrmat to allow text to ['it on
ScT.een.
NOTE: Not all TV programs and product
commercials are broadcast with Closed
Captioning (CC). Nor are all Closed
Captioning MODEs (CAPTION t-4 or
TEXT 1-4) necessarily being used by Noad-
cast stations during the transmission N' a pro-
gram o[/ering Closed Captioning. Refer to
your area's TV program listings ff)r the sta-
tions and times o["shows being broadcast
with Closed Captioning.
