turn the two locking arms (shown
in Fig. 4) at the right and left of
the paper roll, so that they are
c o r r e c t l y p o s i t i o n e d o v e r t h e
plastic tube.
F e e d t h e p a p e r u n d e r t h e t e n ¬
sion control roller and then up¬
w a r d s t h r o u g h t h e s l o t b e t w e e n
the dust cover and the lid, place
i t b e t w e e n p a p e r s a d d l e a n d
its guide axle, insert it under the
p l a t e n f r o m b e h i n d a n d f e e d i t
round the platen by turning the
platen as with an office type¬
w r i t e r .

Tear paper off along the tear-
o ff p l a t e .
Push the lid carefully to the rear
with one hand and push the
bracing bar to the rear with the
o t h e r h a n d . C l o s e t h e l i d a n d
swing the paper deflecting bail
shown in Fig. 1to the front.
