CONTROLS

POWER
Switch
Turns on and off the EA-G90. When the power is turned on, this
switch
and the LEFT and RIGHT Channel
Frequency
Level con-
trols will light. Always press the upper section of this switch (near
the word POWER).
LEFT and RIGHT Channel Frequency Level Controls
The controls will light when the power is turned on.
When
the
EQUALIZER
switch
is turned
ON
, the
levels
of
these centre frequencies can be adjusted from +12 dB to —12dB
or +6 dB to —6 dB depending
on the setting of the CONTROL
RANGE selector.
ATTENUATOR
Switch
Turn ON ( «) this switch when the input level is targe. The input
level will be attenuated by 6 dB (1/2). Normally, this switched
should be turned OFF ( @).
CONTROL
RANGE
Selector with Indicator
+12dB (HL):
To change the levels of the centre frequencies from
+12 dB to —12 dB. This selector and the Channel
Frequency Level controls will light green.
To change the levels of the centre frequencies from
+6 dB to —6 dB. This selector and the Channel
Frequency Level controls will light orange.

MONITOR Switch
Turn
ON
(-m)
this switch
when
playing back
a tape or when
monitoring during recording.
CHARACTER
REVERSE
Switch
Operates only when the EQUALIZER
switch is turned ON.
Normally, this switch should be turned OFF ( 8). When this
switch is turned ON
( 2m), the characteristics that was equalizer
compensated
by the Channel Frequency Level controls is reversed.
\f a control was set to +5 dB, it will become —5 dB.
Recording (REC) Switch
Turn
ON the EQUALIZER
switch and this switch when recording
equalizer compensated signals. Turn OFF
(IL) this switch when
recording normal signals.

Turn

this
switch
to adjust each
Channel
Frequency
Lev-
el control.
When
set
to
DEFEAT
position,
the
signals
are
output without equalizer compensation. When the switch is set to
DEFEAT the Channel Frequency Level controls will go out.
INPUT Jacks
Connect to the TAPE
REC jacks of an integrated amplifier with a
connection cord.

In case
the amplifier can be separated,
connect
to the PRE
OUT jacks,
OUTPUT Jacks
Connect to the TAPE PLAY jacks of an integrated amplifier.
*
Incase the amplifier can be separated, connect to the MAIN
IN
jacks,
TAPE Jacks
REC:
Connect to the line in jacks of a tape deck.
PLAY:
Connect to the line out jacks of a tape deck.
Power Cord
Connect to the AC outlet of an amplifier or a timer, orto
a house-
hold AC outlet.
