Viking DVA-1003B Addendum

DVA-1003B Technical Practice Addendum
While using the E & M control leads of the DVA-1003B and powering the DVA-1003B
from the supplied 12 volt DC adapter, you must connect the 12 volt adapter as shown
in the steps below, in order to get proper E & M lead operation from the DVA-1003B.
1. Disconnect the 12 volt adapter from the 120 volt wall power.
2. Cut off the power plug at the end of the 12 volt adapter's cord.
3. Strip back the two wires coming from the 12 volt adapter.
4. Connect the "striped" wire from the 12 volt adapter to the "-48V" screw terminal on
the DVA-1003B.
5. Connect the "solid" wire from the 12 volt adapter to the "GND" screw terminal on the
DVA-1003B.
