    WARNING: Gas leaks cannot always be detected by smell. Gas suppliers recommend that you use a gas detector approved by UL or CSA. For more information, contact your gas supplier. If a gas leak is detected, follow the “What to do if you smell gas” instructions. Your dryer must be properly installed and vented to achieve maximum drying ef ciency and shorten drying times.

    4. Use clamps to seal all joints. Exhaust vent must not be connected or secured with screws or other fastening devices that extend into the interior of the duct and can catch lint.
