Symptom Remedy
The tape starts playing as soon as it is • The safety tab has been removed. To record on this tape
inserted, cover the tab hole.
The tape is _iected when you press • Check that the safety tab has not been removed.

r_ Nothing happens when you press • Make sure the tape is not at its end.
O REC.
The timer does not operate. • Check that the clock is set.
• Make sure a tape has been inselted.
• Check that the safety tab has not been removed.
• Make sure the tape is not at its end.
• Make sure a program has been set for timer recording.
• Make sure your timer settings are past the cttrrent time.
• Check that the cable box is turned on.
• The clock stops if the DVD-VCR is disconnected from
the wall omlet for more than one minute. Reset the clock
and timer.
• Turn the power off and tmplug the AC power cord.
• Check that a tape is not alrea@ in the tape compartment.
• Clean the cabinet, panel and controls with a dl_,. soft
cloth, or a soft cloth slightly moistened with a mild
detergent solmion. Do not use any type of solvent, such
as alcohol or benzine.
• The unit is not compatible with satellite TV receiver AV
mouse, etc.
