NOTE: This instruction outlines the recommended
installation procedure.
INTRODUCTION
The PD and RD Frame circuit breaker line includes types
PD6, HPD6, PXD6, HPXD6, CPD6, RD6, HRD6, RXD6,
HRXD6 and CRD6 circuit breaker types: and types PXD6
and RXD6 molded case switches. These devices are rated
for operating voltages up to 600 VAC, 50/60 Hz and 500
VDC.
PD and RD Frame circuit breakers can only be placed into
service by using the proper connect-all mountng assembly.
INSTALLATION
The PD and RD frame devices are for use in individual en-
closures, panelboards, switchboards, or other approved equip-
ment.
The installation procedure consists of inspecting, attaching
required accessories, mounting the device and connecting
and torquing the line and load wire connectors. See TABLE 1.
Unmounted wire connectors (where required) are avail-
able as separate catalog items. See Fig. 5 for options on
installation.
NOTE: Use TA5P600, TA4P750, TA6R600 or TC5R600 for
the PD frame. Use TC5R600 or TA6R600 for the RD
frame, see breaker marking. TAQ6R600 Requires
heat sink installation only.
NOTE: Molded case switches are supplied as complete devices
only.

1 Información Técnica
Generalidades
El marco PD y RD incluye los interruptores PD6, HPD6, HPD6,
HPXD6, RD6, HRD6, RXD6.
Estos interruptores se diseñaron para operar en tensiones hasta
600V C.A. 50/60 Hz. y 500 VCD.
2 Instalación.
Los interruptores termomagnéticos PD y RD, están previstos
para alojarse en gabinetes individuales, tableros de distribución,
tableros de maniobra y otros gabinetes aprobados.
El procedimiento para la instalación consiste de: inspección de los
accesorios requeridos, montaje del interruptor y conexión de los
conductores del lado de línea y de carga aplicando el torque
adecuado alos conectores. (Vea Table 1)
Nota: Los conectores TA5P600, TA4P750, TA6R600 Y
TC5R600 son para el marco PD. Los conectores TC5R600 Y
TA6R600 son para el marco RD. TA6R600 requiere únicamente
instalación del elemento calefactor.
