5. FINE TUNE
This parameter sets the fine tuning (detune) of each MIDI channel. Normally, the COARSE TUNE is
made first and then refined with FINE TUNE.

This parameter tunes each MIDI channel.
7. EXPRESSION
This parameter sets the expression of each MIDI channel.
Note
* VOLUME and EXPRESSION are basically the same setting. Normally, VOLUME is used to auyusi
the overall volume of all channels, while EXPRESSION is used to change the intonation within a
song.

Probabie Cause
No sound when key- | 1. Power supply problem

+ and - ends facing in the right di-
rections).

2. Slide the VOLUME
controller to-
wards MAX.
3. Disconnect the headphones from
the keyboard.
4. Use the MODE button to turn off
the mode indicators.
. VOLUME is set to MIN.
. Headphones are connected.
. Attempt to play notes on accompa-
niment keyboard while the CASIO
CHORD or FINGERED mode indi-
cator is lit.
. Adrum set (dr.0 to dr.7) is selected.
5. Any of these settings disable the 16
keyboard keys on the far left and
the seven keyboard keys on the far
right.
6. Turn the LOCAL CONTROL param-
eter on.

turned off (indicators are not lit).
