FUNCTIONS OF VARIOUS PARTS
• Power source switch
The unit is turned on when hood cover is moved backward and turned off when the cover is moved
forward. As soon as the power source is engaged, all registers (or operation and memory are auto¬
matically cleared, and the unit is ready to perform calculation.
C Clear key
Clears all the contents except memory registers.
r t1 Clear entry key
Clears figures entered by mistake.
* Multiplication key
Orders multiplication and starts operation when chain calculations are performed.
+ Division key
Orders division and starts operation when chain calculations are performed.
*- Plus-equal key
Derives sum, product or quotient.
B
Minus-equal key
Orders subtraction. Also derives product or quotient in the case of negative multiplier or
divisor.
Memory recall key
Summons the contents stored in the memory on the display panel.
