° To Adjust
1, Set the mono switch to OFF (AUTO mode). Set the local
switch to OFF (DISTANT mode).
2. Check that the oscilloscope waveforms are 0 V with a zero
SSG output level.
3. Supply a 98.1 MHz
(100%
modulation)
signal with an
output level of 29 +6 dB (xV) from the SSG and tune in.
Check that the oscilloscope waveforms are DC 8V and that
they are in the form of square waves with an average volt-
age of between 5 V and 8 V.

. Set the local switch to ON (LOCAL mode) and set the SSG
output level to 50 + dB (pV).
. Memorize the 98.1 MHz signal in one of the preset buttons,
keep depressing the preset button at intervals of about 0.5
sec. and check that the oscilloscope waveforms aie about 8

. The above operations may be checked with scanning or
seeking.
