Connect the water and gas connections in accordance
with the applicable standards.
1.
Purge the gas line before start-up.
2.
Check whether the connections (→ Page 21) are leak-
tight.

Check the entire gas line properly for leak-tightness.

Connecting the condensate drain pipework

Follow the instructions listed here and observe directives
and local regulations on condensed water discharge.
Use PVC or another material that is suitable for draining
the non-neutralised condensed water.
If you cannot guarantee that the materials from which the
condensate discharge pipe is made are suitable, install a
system to neutralise the condensate.
Ensure that the connection between the condensate dis-
charge pipe and the condensate drain hose is not air-
tight.
Connect the condensate siphon (1). Use the supplied
condensate drain hose (2) to do this.
Connect a condensate discharge pipe (not included in
the scope of delivery) to the condensate discharge hose
(2).

Installing the discharge pipe on the
expansion relief valve

Ensure that the pipeline is visible.
2.
Connect the expansion relief valve (1).
The components must be set up in such a way that
you can see the water flowing out.
3.
If water or steam is escaping or if there is a flood, en-
sure that nobody can be injured and that no electrical
components can be damaged.

Flue installation

5.5.1
Installing and connecting the flue pipe

You can find out which flue pipes may be used by con-
sulting the enclosed flue pipe installation manual.
Conditions: Installation in damp rooms
You must connect the product to a room-sealed air/flue
gas installation. The combustion air must not be taken
from the installation site.
Caution.
Risk of poisoning due to escaping flue
gas.
Mineral-oil-based greases can damage the
seals.
Instead of grease, use only water or com-
mercially available soft soap to aid install-
ation.

Install the flue pipe using the installation manual.

Replacing the connection piece for the
air/flue pipe as required

Replace the connection piece for the air/flue pipe as
required. The product-specific standard equipment is
listed under Technical data.
Remove the connection piece for the air/flue pipe – this

If required, install the connection piece for the
