P.MEMORY
Preparation
ePress iLb] 1o turn on the unit.
eTurn on the television and seleut the appropriate video input on the
television to suit the Connections for the unit.

Press [I_ DVD/CD] to select "DVD/CD"
as the source.
ePresS ii] when a disc is in the tr_ty.
elf the disc contains both audio data (WMA and MP3) end
JPEG, chcuk "Mixed Disc Audio & Stills' setllng in the
SETUP menu (_ page 30). Select "Stills (JPEG)" to play
JPEG or =Audio (MP3iWMA)" to play WMA/MP3.

Press [_._& OPEN/CLOSE] to open the
disc tray and place the disc.

discs, load so the label for the
side you want to play is facing

If play doesn't start after step 2
Press [I_ DVD/CD].

[SUBTITLE] to turn the display on or Off.
Adjust the volume.
• To pause play
Press Ill] during pl;.ty.
Press [1_ DVD!CD] to res4art play.
• To stop play
Press [I] (,+ below, Resume function).

The operation is prohibited by the unit or disc.
• It may ta_c some time for play to start but this is normal.
• Multiple-channel signals arc down-mixed to stereo (2-channel). _l'c

If "D,MIX _ flashes on the display
The DVD-Audio Contains multiple-channel signals that cannot be
down-mixed.

During play
Press [SHIFT]+[P.MEMORY] to memorize
a position.
Press aga{n to replace the pos{t{on.
This position is saved even if you turn the unit off, uhange the scuroc
or open the disc tray. When you turn the unit on, resclcot "DVDiCD"
or rcinscrt the disc whose position you memorized, "RESUME' lights
on the display. Press [1_ DVDiCDj to start play Prom the memorized
position. The position is ulcarod.
• You can memorize positions on up to five different discs at a time.
When you memorize another position, the earliest position is
replaced.
[ Resumefunction ]
=RESUME" lights on the display when the unit has reCorded the
position at which you stopped play.
Press [1_ DVD!CD 1 to start play from that position.
• The position is ulcarod when you:
Turn the unit off.
Select another source or open the disc tr'_y.
• Press [I]to ulcar the position.

CD] when "RESUME" is displayed.
Press ll_ DVD!CD] while the mess;.tgc
is displayed and the beginning portions of cash chapter up to the
current One arc played.
Full play resumes from the point where you pressed [I] or
[SHIFT]+ [RMEMORY l .
(This feature works only within a title.)
If you do not press [1_ DVDiCDj, the message dicappears and play
st;.trts from whore you pressed [I] or [SHIFTJ÷[RMEMORY].
