Electronic Books and Regular Compact Discs
When listening to a compact disc
¢ Avoid listening with your headphones:
— while driving, cycling, etc.
— for an extended period of time at a loud volume.
¢ Remember not to disturb those near you with the sounds from your
headphones.
Handling electronic books and compact discs
* Electronic books
Always keep the electronic book disc in its caddy. The caddy is designed to
protect the disc from getting scratched or dirty. Do not remove the disc from
the caddy unless necessary.
¢ Compact discs
Always hold a disc by its edges. Do not touch the surface. Do not stick paper
or write anything on the surface of the disc.

Storing electronic books and compact discs
¢ Never store electronic books or compact discs:
— in direct sunlight.
— in a place subject to high temperature.
— on the dashboard or seat of a car in summer or in direct sunlight.
¢ When you are not going to use an electronic book or compact disc for a long
time, remove it from the player. Keep the electronic book disc in its caddy.
Keep the compact disc in its case. The disc may warp if you do not keep it in
its case. Do not stack it with other discs or stand it in an inclined position.
