TEST MODE 1. Test mode 1 is entered by powering up the mobile with the Programming Cable inserted in the microphone/speaker socket and then DGT button held. The display shows KENWOOD TRUNKED PORTABLE - Test Modes Ver 0.99 Page (2) - Page 3 DGT button held and the Reset key held.. The Squelch defeat operates in the same way as test mode 1. - Page 6 Connect the portable to a suitable R.F transmitter test set. Press the PTT to transmit. While transmitting, the encoder will increase or decrease the speech deviation.
