TIME MODE
Output level control
(Available only from the remote control)
The output level can be temporarily decreased by this means,
instead of adjusting the volume of the amplifier.
Press ▼ LEVEL to lower the output level.
T
You can reduce the output level from 0 dB (normal level) down to
-12dBby2dBsteps.
Indicates that the level is reduced 2 dB.
The display returns to the original state after about 2 seconds.
When the power is switched off and then switched back on again,
the level returns to 0 dB.
To raise the output level, press LEVEL A.

Note:
This unit is designed so that the output level cannot be adjusted in
the edit mode to avoid changing the recording level.
Time mode selection
(Also available from the remote control)
Press TIME MODE in the play or pause mode.
Each time you press the button, the information will change as
follows.
•When the track in play is number 21 or higher:
The "-:—" indication will appear on display ®.
•In the random play mode:
The "-:—" indication will appear on display © and "—:—" on
display @.
•In the fade out mode:
The remaining time till the fade-out will appear between the displays
® and @.
•In the edit mode:
The remaining time of each side of the tape will appear on display
®-
•In the program play mode:
The information displayed on displays © and ® is only within the
programmed tracks.
