INITIAL TURNTABLE SET-UP

Remove the clamps (2) and lift off the platter. To remove the clamps, twist
them in the direction indicated in the illustration, and lift them straight up.

Place the rubber mat on top of the platter.
Remove the band securing the tonearm,
Disconnect the tonearm from the arm rest.
Remove the stylus guard.

Hook the turntable drive belt over your finger.

Set the platter onto the turntable so that the platter shaft passes through it.
Hook the drive belt over the motor pully. Rotate the platter a few times by
hand to make sure that the beit is correctly in place.

Perform connections by matching
the colors of the connecting cords.
Before performing connections, turn off the power switch of the cassette
tape deck amplifier
Insert the plugs as far as they will go. An improper connection or poor con-
tact will result in no sound, or will degrade the sound.
Connect the white plug to the left channel and the red plug to the right
channel.
For the sake of convenience, the expression "turntable legs" is abbreviated
in the instructions.
Attaching the legs of the turntable (Only DC-X55Z and DC-
X33Z)
Perform connections by matching the colors of the connecting cords.
Attach the legs accompanying the turntable to the rear panel of the vassette
deck amplifier.

Be sure to attach the left (L) and right (R) legs to their proper positions,
insert the guide pins on the legs inte the holes in the back of the cassette
deck amplifier.
Fasten the legs in place with the screws provided.
After connecting the antenna, mount the tumtable securaly on top of the
