1.
Push the FUNCTION
swtich in the TUNER
position on the cassette deck
amplifier.
2,
Push the appropriate function switch on the stereo tuner.
3.
Rotate the tuning knob and tune in the desired station.

Manual Tuning
1. Push the FUNCTION switch in the TUNER position on the cassette deck

Push the appropriate function switch on the stereo tuner.
3.
Push the TUNING switches ('~" or +") and tune in the desired station.

Memory Tuning
1.
Begin receiving.
For manual tuning, refer to Manual Tuning.

Repeat steps 1 through 2 to preset up to 16 stations.

By editing a tape as you copy it, you can make a tape containing only
selected songs.

The tape recorded on Deck II will always be recorded without noise reduc-
tion.
NOTE:

You can also start tape copying by pressing the PLAY switch of Deck f
and the REC switch of Deck Ii at the same time. They should not be press-
ed together during tape editing.
©
Tapes recorded using the tape editing function will be recorded without
DOLBY
noise reduction.
When playing them back, always turn the Dolby NR off.

Press the POWER switch to turn POWER on.
Load the original tape into Deck |.
Load the tape for recording into Deck II.

Press the TAPE FUNCTION switch,
DOLBY NR switch to the on position.

Press the REC { @ } switch on Deck

8. Press the PLAY { €+> } switch on Deck |.
© Play back the selection you wish to copy to the tape in Deck I
10. Press the PAUSE ( 8H ) switch on Deck Il.
© Press the PAUSE ( 88 } switch on Deck II to start recording.
11. Adjust the piayback volume to the desired level.
* Use fast forward or rewind as needed.
14, Press the PAUSE ( 8B ) switch on Deck Il again,
* Recording on Deck ff will resume.
