1 • Getting Started
Read the safety instructions in the «Precautions» section
before use.
To use your phone, you must insert a valid SIM card
supplied by your GSM operator or retailer. The SIM
card contains your subscription, your mobile number,
and a memory in which you can store phone numbers
and messages (see "Phone book" on page 25)
The phone's battery is attached to its back cover.
There is a slot at the side of the back cover to hold the
stylus pen.
Insert the SIM card
Before you insert or remove the SIM card, you need to
remove the stylus pen from its slot.

Make sure that the
phone is switched
off.
Hold
the
phone
on
your
palm with the front
of the phone facing
downwards
as
shown
in
the
diagram. Use your
free hand to pull
the release button
located
at
the
bottom
of
the
speaker. The back
cover
will
be
detached from the
phone and you may
now remove it.
