Begin the operation of the sound source to
be recorded.
Refer to the operating instructions of each component.
Adjust the recording level by using the con-
trols on the tape deck 1 and/or 2 (or DAT).
Then begin recording.
Refer to the operating instructions of the tape decks or DAT.

1 is the tape deck connected

Mi To record from tape deck 1 to 2 (or DAT)
1. Set the recording output selector to the "tape 1®2/DAT".
2. Set the input selector to the 'tape 1".
3. Begin the tape deck 1 for playback and the tape deck 2 (or
DAT} for recording.
To check the sound being recorded, set the input selector to the
"tape 2/DAT™ pasition.
Mi To record from tane deck 2 for DAT} to 1
1. Set the recording output selector to the "tape 2/DAT» 1".
2. Set the Input selector to the "tape 2/DAT".
3. Begin the tape deck 2 (or DAT) for playback and the tape deck
1 for recording.
To check the sound being recorded, set the input selector to the
"tape 1'' position.

Use the input selector to select the sound source you want to
hear.
