(D POWER Switch
Use this slide-switch to turn the instrument on
and off.
@ VOLUME Controls
When the PortaSound is turned on, the volume
is automatically set to a "normal" level. Use the
UP and DOWN buttons to increase or decrease
the volume.
(3) DEMOnstration Button
Press the DEMO button to start a prerecorded
demonstration tune. Press the button again to
stop the demonstration.
@ SELECT Buttons
After inserting one of the music cards, use the
four SELECT buttons to select the different
functions listed on that card.

(5) Card Slot
To play a music card, place the card in the slot
and press the SELECT buttons for the function
you want to play.
(6) Card Stand
Store your music cards in the Card Stand.
(7) Microphone (PSS-102 only)

When you insert a rhythm style card in the slot,
you can push an appropriate key in this
section, and play with automatic
accompaniment.
(9) Music Cards
The PSS-101 has 15 music cards; the PSS-102
has 30 music cards.
These cards are not interchangeable between
the two models.
