Annex 5 : Supported file formats
A codec (encoder/decoder) is a technology for compressing and decompressing data. Codecs convert digital signals
to and from analog, and can be implemented in software, hardware, or a combination of both. Standard codecs are
used to encode and compress audio and video data for streaming across networks.

progressive formats are not supported. Only 3
colour spaces pictures are supported (e.g. RGB or
YUV). CMYK encoded pictures are not supported.
Pictures with a resolution smaller than 16x16 pixels
are not supported.
