Operation
M@ Seek tuning
1. Turn the power on.
2. Select AM or FM band.
3. By depressing the seek switch, the received frequency varies from lower to higher until a
radio signal is received. Then seek operation stops and the unit is tuned in to a station.
@ Manual tuning
1. Turn the power on.
2. Select AM or FM band.
3. Push the MONO switch.
How
to store the selected station frequency in the memory
1. Tune in to a station which you wish to store in memory.
2. Press the memory switch.
3. When the switch illuminates for a few seconds, depress any required channel key.
@ How to perform preset scanning
1. Store a station frequency in any one of 1 to 6 channel keys.
@ How to ''tuner call''
1. Leave the power set to on.
2. Set the tuner call switch to on.
3. When the tape is fast forwarded or rewound, a radio broadcast can be heard.
lM How to set the cassette tape in stand-by
1. Switch on the tuner and tune to the desired station.
Cautions:

When
both the cassette standby switch and the ABSS switch are turned on, cassette
standby operation overrides ABSS operation. However, if no cassette is loaded, the unit
goes into ABSS operation.
