To reduce the risk of fire, explosion, or electro-
static shock, do not operate the spray gun with-
out the electrode installed in the air cap.

Remove the retaining nut (8), tip guard, (Z), air cap
(1) and spray tip (9) as instructed on page 28.
Pull the electrode (la) out of the backside of the air
cap with a needle nose pliers.
Push the new electrode through the air cap hole.
Place firm finger pressure on the electrode wire (la)
on the backside of the air cap, and make sure the
short end (BE) of the electrode engages into the
hole (CC) as shown in Fig 9.

Assemble the spray tip, air cap, and tip guard. Then
install them on the gun, securing them with the Fig 9
retaining nut.
Test the gun resistance as instructed on page 25.
