OPERATION
(DIRECT PROGRAM,
TIMER START)
PROGRAMMING
DURING
PLAYBACK
(Direct
program)
@ When
the PGM
MEMORY
key is pressed during
playback, the currently playing track will be pro-
grammed (Direct program).
@ During playback, select the track number
by the
TRACK
SEARCH
keys.
Then
press
the
PGM
MEMORY
key. The
specified
track
on
the disc
being played will be added to the program.
The indicator will then display (for 5 seconds) the
total number of steps programmed. To program a
track of another disc, press the disc number key
for the disc to be played.
NOTE:
@ Direct programming
not
available
during programmed
playback play or random playback.
About Timer Play Start
When
a magazine is properly loaded with discs and
inserted
into the player,
playback will begin auto-
matically when the power is turned on.
If use is made of an audio timer, the player can be
made to start playing from a specified time.
@ When using a six-disc magazine:
Playback will start from disc 1, track 1.
NOTE:
@ When using an audio timer, leave the POWER
switch of
the player turned ON.
@ The timer is activated approximately 5 seconds after the
power is turned on.

@ If you operate the player by pressing any of the func-
tion keys before timer start, timer start will not occur.
