Set the TAPE LENGTH of the INITIAL SET-UP menu to the
appropriate position. (See TAPE LENGTH below.)
Press the DATA ON SCREEN button once.
(The counter display is replaced by the remaining time
display.)

For the remaining time display to indicate the correct remain-
ing time, the TAPE LENGTH must be set to the appropriate
position.
[1] Press the MENU button.
(The VCR MENU appears on the TV screen.)
Tum the JOG dial to move the cursor until it is to the left of item
