Transmitting Recorder data
from MIDI Out
If this setting is on, performance data recorded on the
HP Piano can be transmitted from the MIDI Out connector.
At power-on, this function is switched off.
Hold down the [Piano 1], [Piano 2], and
[Harpsichord] buttons and press the "D6" to
turn the setting On, or the "E6" to turn the
setting Off.

The recorded data will be erased when you switch off
the HP Piano. If you wish to keep the performance, use
the following procedure.
1. Connect a MIDI sequencer such as the MT
series (p. 29).
2. Record the performance on the HP Piano
(p. 20).
3. Activate the Recorder transmit function.
4. Start recording with the connected MIDI device.
5. Start playback of the recorded song on the
HP Piano.
When playback ends, stop recording on the
connected MIDI device.
Save the data of the external sequencer to a
floppy disk or other media.
