Introduction of advanced built-in
CD player operation
1 FUNCTION display
Shows (1¢ functor status.
Press FUNCTION to display the function
names,
Press FUNCTION repeatedly to switch between
tne following furctions:
REPEAT (repeat play).-- RANDOM 'random
playi—T-SCAN {scar p:ay)—-PAUSE (nause)
¢ To return to tne playback display, press
BAND/ESC.
Note
30 seconds, tne display is automatica:ly
returned to the playback display. =
Repeating play
Repeat play :ets you hear the same track over
agan.
1 Press FUNCTION to select REPEAT.
Press FUNCTION Lrtil REPEAT appears ir the
disoiay.
2 Press « to turn repeat play on.
REPEAT :ON appears :n the d.sp ay. The track
presently playing will olay ang then repeat.

Playing tracks in a random order
Random p ay lets you p ay back tracks on t1e
CD in a random order.
1 Press FUNCTION to select RANDOM.
Press FUNCTION Until RANDOM appears in tne
dispiay.
2 Press « to turn random play on.
RANDOM :ON appears in the d splay, Tracks will
pay in a random order.
3 Press W to turn random play off. af
RANDOM :OFF appears ir the cisolay. Tracks

Scanning tracks of aCD
Scar play lets you hear the frst "O secerds ot
each tréc< onthe CD.
1 Press FUNCTION to select T-SCAN.
Press FUNCTION until T-SCAN appears ir the
alsplay.
2 Press a to turn scan play on.
T-SCAN :ON appears in ine dsp-ay. Tre f rst 16
seco ds of each track is played. ee
3 When you find the desired track press ¥ to
turn scan play off.
T-SCAN :OFF appears in the display Thie track
wil cortique to play.
* If the disoiay 1as automatically returned to
the p'ayback d-splay. select T-SCAN again by
oressing FUNCTION.

Using disc title functions
You car 'niput CD titles and display the t-tle. The
next time you insert a CD for whicn you have
entered é title. the tite of that CD wil! be cis-
prayed.
Entering disc titles
Disc tele input lets you input CD t-tles up to 16
letters ong ard up to 48 disc tties nto the built-
in CD piayer
1 Play aCbB that you want to enter the title.
2 Press FUNCTION and hold until TITLE IN
appears in the display.
