Wash the bearing bushings (2) and col‐
lar screws (1) in a non-flammable liquid
before replacing the polymer blades or
the wear plate, then dry and lubricate
with STIHL Multispray (3) sold sepa‐
rately. Run for a brief period (about 5
minutes) and then retighten the collar
screws, E.
Keep polymer blades and mowing lines in
a water bath between 12 hours and 24
hours before use to increase their useful
life.
