10 kHz level is changed with the dial.
1 MHz level is changed with the dial.
The shift control also determines how much the dial frequency will change when one
of the microphone UP/DWN pushbuttons is depressed. In the SHIFT and kHz positions
the frequency is changed |O kHz each time a button is pressed in VFO B; and 20 kHz
in VFO A. In the MHz position the frequency is changed in 1 MHz steps regardless of
which VFO has been selected.
