Control Lock (onsomemodels)
To lock tlle cooktop and

lock
knob
counterclockwise
to LOCK Aa_indicator

CONTROL LOCK
is locked.
When locked, the cooktop will sound
if any control knob is set to any position
other than OFF.
To unlock, mrn the conuol lock knob
to UNLOCK
How to Light a Burner
Make sure the control
lock ]<nob is in the
UNLOCKposition.
Your cool<top burnezs are lit by elecuic
ignition, eliminating the need fbr
standing pilot lights with consmndy
burning flames.
Push die control knob down and mrn it
to the tile position. After the bmne_
ignims, mm the Mlob to adjust the flame
size. To turn
the
burner

knob clockwise as flu as it will go, to the
OFFposition.

oneyouwant to use.

capability. It can be turned down flom
PowerBoiF to SIMMERfor a wide range
of cooking applications.

special PowerBoif _ settings. This feature
should only be used with cool<ware 11"
or larger in diamem*, and flames should
never be allowed to extend up die sides
of the cookware. This feature is designed
to qtficldy bring laige amounts of liquid
in pots 11" or larger in diameter to a boil.
