Before connecting the external data medium

it is recommended to switch the television to
stand-by mode.
Before removing the external data medium,

the television must be switched to standby,
so that no data loss occurs.
Your television features two USB sockets,

»usB1« and »usB2­(HDD)«.
»usB2­ (
HDD)« i s u sed t o c onnect d ata m edia,
which require an additional power supply
– for example, external hard disks.
1 Connect the
»usB2­
t elevision and the corresponding socket of
the data medium (external hard disk) using
a USB cable;
or
insert the USB plug of the USB memory stick
into the »usB1« socket of the television.

cordance with USB specifications. External
hard disks which require more power may

If you use a network cable for external hard

»usB2­(HDD)« socket of the television, this
network cable must also be disconnected
from the power supply when the television is
switched off.
External data media may not be disconnect-

ed from the television while files on the data
medium are being accessed.
