Take up any slack in the tape
before inserting a cassette.

Listening with the earphone
Connect the optional earphone to the @) jack of this unit.
The built-in speaker is automatically disconnected.
At the end of the tape
All the locked buttons will be released automatically.
Insert a cassette.
Monitoring the recording
Connect the optional earphone. The monitoring volume is fixed.
Recording with an external microphone
Connect an external microphone to the MIC jack of this unit. The built-in
microphone is automatically disconnected.
When a microphone with PLUG IN POWER system is connected, power is
supplied with the microphone from this unit.
For indexing the tape contents
Use the COUNTER. Press the reset button to set the counter to "000". The figure
on the counter increases during playback, recording and fast-forwarding, and
decreases during rewinding.
The & button is depressed
automatically.
To prevent accidental erasure
Break out the tab corresponding to the side to be recorded on. Recording on that
side will be protected.
